12. 담마딘나 장로니

욕망이 일어나는 것을 끝내야 겠다는 것이

마음에 가득하여야 한다.

몸에 묶이지 않은 마음이

흐름을 거슬러 올라간다라고 한다.

12. Dhammadinnātherīgāthā

“Chandajātā avasāyī,
Manasā ca phuṭā siyā;
Kāmesu appaṭi­baddha­cittā,
Uddhaṃsotāti vuccatī”ti.

dinna: [pp. of deti] given; granted. (pp. of dadāti), given; offered; allowed; granted; handed over, 施

deti : [dā + e] gives. (See dadāti)

dadāti: [dā + a; dā is doubled and the former ā is shortened] gives; offers; allows; grants; hands over 施

Avasāya,[fr. avaseti] stopping, end, finish 終止, 結末(結尾, 結局)

ava:Away, off; down, 下, 卑下

āvāsa: [m.] home; dwelling place. sojourn, stay, dwelling, living, 住所, 居住
Avasa ,(adj.) [a + vasa] powerless

vasa: [m.] control; influence; authority

mānasa: [nt.] mind; intention. (adj.), (in cpds.) having the intention of

anāsā:f. [an-āsā] [非-希(願)望] 無望, 不(希)望

nāsa : [m.] ruin; destruction; death.。

nāsā, (f.), the nose 놀랍다. 영어랑 동일하다. nasal

phuṭa: [pp. of pharati] pervaded; permeated; spread with, 편만遍満 충만充満 blossoming out, opened, in full bloom 꽃피다.

siyā: [Sk. syād] atthi ① の opt. 있는 것이다.

appaṭibaddha: [adj.] not connected with, 연결되지 않은

paṭibaddha: [pp. of paṭibandhati] bound to; depent on; attracted on or by 묶여있는

bandhati: [bandh + a] binds; combines; unites; ties on; captures; composes

uddhaṃsota: «uddhaṃ+sota», going upwards in the stream of life

삼명의 숙명통을 봄은 시간의 흐름을 거슬러 올라가는 것이라 역류문(逆流門)일 수 있고, 또한 세상의 흐름과 반대로 가기 때문에 역류문이라 할 수 있다.

Kāmesu appaṭi­baddha­cittā를 Kāmesuappaṭi­baddha ­cittā 즉 몸에 묶이지 않는 마음으로 번역하였다. 몸에 묶인다는 것은 오온을 나라고 아는 것이라고 보았다.

sota: [nt.] the ear. (m.), a stream; torrent; flood 귀로 들리는 것도 폭류(ogha)에 속한다.

uddha : [adj.] upper; upward, 上, 後, 高, 上方

12. 최상의 결과 위해 원을 세운 사람은
마침내 마음으로 열반에 닿으리니
어떤 욕심에도 결박 되지 않은 사람
그는 상류반(上流般)의 사람이라 불리운다.

12. 누구든지 굳게 결심하여

도를 닦고자 하는 마음으로 가득해야 하나니,

어떠한 욕망에도 마음이 아랑곳하지 않는 사람은

‘흐름을 거슬러 오르는 이’라고 불린다.
